The eyes and the ears are gates to the soul. You may not understand the connection between what you see and how it leaves residue in your body but listen, the instruction of the Lord is to cleanse all your mind.
This is the thing that you have to understand and use as a gate every time, be it a movie, series, show, or even music. The question that you have to ask yourself is, what door does this music, what door does this portion of media open to you? If it is a good door and you know within your spirit, by all means, go ahead. If you cannot confirm that it is a good door, then it is not worth the risk.
The Lord, in the place of worship, when deep worship, began to speak to us about a deposit even in the mind. He said that for as little as 10 seconds of a clip or a verse of a song, it can take as much as 10 years before it is deleted from the mind. And that is taking conscious effort even to remove it from your mind. Listen, it is not worth even the effort. It's not worth the time. So it's important to put even the gatekeeper around your mind, around your spirit, around your soul so that your mind is not polluted.
