The Exodus: Be Still and Know that I am the Lord

Shalom,

In the powerful month of September, we're studying from the Book of Exodus.  It's the month we need more of God's Presence. It is a month of the display of God's Presence; it's also the month of the roaring of the fake lion. The worshipper must stay calm amid all the noise, and be still to see the salvation of the Lord.

Continue to charge upon God's power.  Consider the afflictions of the Israelites in Egypt.  The Lord was determined to deliver them; so the Lord adopted Israel as His first.  Exodus 6:7  goes, I will take you as My people, and I will be your God. Then you shall know that I am the Lord your God who brings you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.

God's deliverance begins with adoption.  Adoption occurs when we forsake all other gods and surrender to the Lordship of the Lord of lords. Then, the Lord takes ownership of our lives.

Read Exodus 12 and Consider the atonement by the blood of the Lamb, who was made our Passover Lamb

Once atonement is established by the blood of Jesus, then the order of deliverance begins.

In the book of Exodus, the Lord takes the worshippers on a ride to showcase His power; and the hardened king of Egypt would not liberate the inheritance of God until the 10th sign of the Power of God was demonstrated through the 10th plague.

And the worshippers' response was worship.
