The cloud of darkness and confusion is often associated with spiritual blindness which is a hindrance from divine communications from the Lord. The Scriptures from the book of John 15 give the worshipper a way out of a life of confusion, darkness, and lack of revelation for their assignments here on earth;
John 15:13-15 --- Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down oneâs life for his friends. 14 You are My friends if you do whatever I command you. 15 No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you.
Worshippers are privileged to the knowledge of God's work on earth; you cannot be a worshipper and not be in the know of what God is doing upon the earth in all areas. The Scripture above gives a picture of a servant who does not know what his master does; the worshipper is brought into the status of friendship with God - with God being the One who elevates into the status of friendship. The result of friendship with God is revelation.
In true friendships, the barriers of secrecy are broken down - Genesis 18:17-19 - 7 And the Lord said, Shall I hide from Abraham what I am doing, 18 since Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him? God shared a special friendship with Abraham; such that He never hid a thing from him.
One of the greatest places to be in our relationship with God is in a position of friendship. God elevates people into that place of "friendship". Enjoying the special privileges of friendship with God produces the fruit of revelation into the inner workings of the Lord.
Expect deep knowledge, insights, wisdom, and revelation from God's Presence when you're a friend of God.
The Friendship status is accorded by God, based on his conditions, not ours; we don't declare we are friends of God without the fruit of revelation into what God is doing. God appoints worshippers as friends and invites them to His banqueting table to partake in the knowledge of the ages to come.
